ABOUT

Simon Meuser is a Senior Consultant with a strong engineering background. He applies proven engineering methodologies to both management and technical projects, ensuring a structured and solution‑oriented approach throughout.

He advanced rapidly in a 800+ consulting firm, taking on full client and project responsibility as a Senior Consultant at the age of 27. He later founded Simon Meuser Engineering to focus on what he values most: direct collaboration, trust, and long-term partnership with his clients.

He does not position himself as a top‑down advisor, but as a service-oriented partner who works closely with clients to address challenges and deliver sustainable, high-quality solutions.

PRINCIPALS FOR OUR PROJECTS

As a father every project I take on as SME is, in some way, a decision about the world the next generation will inherit.

As engineers, we are given real leverage: the kind that decides what gets built, how systems work, and what the next generation of technology stands for.
That leverage is not neutral. It can simply follow wherever the market leads, or it can be pointed deliberately at the problems worth solving.
SME chooses the second.

For that reason, SME only accepts engagements that pass an internal sustainability screening before any work begins — not as a marketing claim, but as a binding principle applied to every mandate, from the first conversation with a new client.

SME does not work on:

  • Fossil energy extraction, processing, or infrastructure

  • Weapons systems or military targeting technology

  • Systems designed to circumvent emissions, safety, or compliance regulations

  • Mass surveillance or the suppression of civil rights

SME looks for projects that:

  • Advance electromobility, resource efficiency, or measurable CO₂ reduction

  • Strengthen functional safety and cybersecurity — the invisible infrastructure that keeps connected technology trustworthy

  • Build governance and compliance structures that make organizations more accountable

Partners and clients of SME can rely on this: every engagement has been screened against these principles before it was accepted. We would rather decline a project than compromise on it —
because the point of this work is to leave something better behind, for our clients, for the industry, and for everyone that comes after us.
